Telok Ayer | Singapur

Telok Ayer station is one of twelve recently remodeled on the Bukit Timah path. Con cientos de pasajeros que transitan la estación todos los días, es necesario que el producto utilizado pueda soportar el tránsito intenso y que también conecte a los pasajeros con su entorno. The artist Ms Lim Shing Ee designed the artwork of Telok Ayer, which means “bay water” in Malay, to celebrate the history of the area. Named “Charm of bay” the artwork uses abstract forms inspired by plantations and elements of water, each pointing or relating to the next as if passing on a tale about the past. The artwork, which will never fade, was handcrafted using the screen printing method by PolyVision imaging experts on a3 CeramicSteel and installed by PolyVision’s partner, Ceramic Steel Alliance.
